Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Pixelfix app (“App”) and website (“Site”), operated by Foobar Creative (“we”, “us”, “our”), an Australian business based in Adelaide, South Australia.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App.
1. Who Can Use Pixelfix
You must be 18 years or older to use Pixelfix. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. What Pixelfix Does
Pixelfix lets you upload photos and use AI to fix, enhance, and transform them — including object removal, photo restoration, upscaling, colorisation, and creating professional headshots and creative compositions.
3. Your Photos and Prompts — Where They Go
This is important. When you submit a photo and optional text prompt for AI processing:
Your photo and prompt are sent to third-party AI services for processing. Specifically, we use one or more of the following depending on the project type:

These services are based overseas (primarily in the United States). By using the App, you consent to your photos and prompts being transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where these providers operate.
Your results on our servers: Your original photo and the AI-generated result are stored on our Google Cloud servers and are deleted when you delete the project from the App.
4. Your Account
Pixelfix does not require you to create an account with a username or password. We automatically create an anonymous account when you first launch the App. This account is tied to your device and is used to store your projects.
If you uninstall the App, your anonymous account and any remaining data may be permanently lost.
5. Subscriptions and Purchases
Pixelfix requires a subscription (“Pro”) to use the App. A free trial is available for new users. Pro subscribers enjoy high usage limits designed to comfortably cover normal use of the App.
- Subscriptions are billed through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles all payment processing.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- We do not offer refunds directly — refund requests must be made through Apple.
- Free trials convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Pixelfix to:
- Submit photos of other people without their explicit consent
- Generate content that is defamatory, offensive, or unlawful
- Create deceptive or misleading images intended to deceive others
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the App or its outputs
- Circumvent subscription restrictions or access controls
7. Your Content
You retain ownership of the photos you upload. By submitting a photo, you grant us (and our AI processing partners) a limited licence to process that photo solely for the purpose of generating your requested result. We do not claim ownership of your photos or results, and we do not use them to train AI models.
8. AI-Generated Results
AI outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate, suitable, or fit for any particular purpose. Results are provided for creative and personal use only. Do not rely on AI-generated images for professional, medical, legal, or identification purposes.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Foobar Creative is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the App, including any reliance on AI-generated results, data loss, or third-party service outages.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above when changes are made.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
